When comparing Engelhard Bass prices, please keep in mind the following:

All our Engelhardt Basses are setup with the following upgrades and setup work is done prior to shipment. WE SHIP TO YOU FROM OUR CUSTOM INVENTORY NOT DIRECT FROM FACTORY.

The following is included in the price of each Bass:

• A set of Innovation Strings of your choice
• Sound Post set, replaced, or refitted as needed
• Bridges are German Quarter Sawn Maple (not a slab cut bridge that tends to warp)
• Custom string action or height per your specifications
• Fingerboard is dressed or planed to eliminate any buzzing throughout register
• All Basses are test played prior to shipping

We can add adjustable bridges, position markers, and any string upgrade you may desire.

All Basses will be setup for optimum sound and ease of playability.

Spruce top and maple back. Maple neck, exotic hardwood fingerboard and tailpiece. Finished in a beautiful mahogany color.

Standard 3/4 size

Properly sized and aligned, the Em1 has a close grained spruce top and maple back. Available in either a brown or blonde finish.

Standard 3/4 size

In use by professional players everywhere, the ES-1 has a remarkable rich and vibrant tone. The top is a close grained spruce with a curly maple back. Cremona brown finish.

Standard 3/4 size

This is Engelhardt's top professional bass. Similar to the ES1 Supreme. Comes with a blonde finish.

Standard 3/4 size

These are the newest models from Engelhardt. They have a spurce top and curly maple back, slender neck, solid ebony fingerboard and tailpiece. Gamba shaped in a brown or blonde finish.

Standard 3/4 size

The perfect bass for the intermediate student. It has a close grained spruce top and maple back. Violin shaped, with a brown finish. Hard maple fingerboard.
